December 2012 - Kim

Kim hosted a fun Holiday Cooking Club.  Aside from all the great cookies for our cookies exchange we got to decorate and bring home yummy sugar cookies!  Kim's friend Alex gave us a lesson on decorating cookies using Fondant.  What a treat! Thanks girls!

2 tsp vanilla

In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking powder, set aside.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, beat in eggs
Add flour mixture and mix on low speed until thoroughly combined.  Stir in vanilla.
Wrap dough in plastic and chill for atleast 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 325, bake until edges start to brown 8-10 minutes  Make sure your dough is cool.  If the dough softens up too much after you cut your shapes just through the cookie sheet in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
